Sustainable Development and Sustainability Science
The Master of Science-level course Sustainable Development and Sustainability Science (SDSS) har been developed by the Swedish Aral Sea Society (SASS) in cooperation with Uzbek academic research colleagues. It gives a comprehensive introduction to the challenges of sustainable development and presents a scientific framework for addressing them.
The course comprises two main components: a lecture series and a student seminar. The lecture series includes 15 lectures delivered by both Swedish and Uzbek instructors. The student seminar consists of short presentations in English, each followed by academic opposition of the content and presentation.
